Opening the World: I'm Now a Certified Accessible Travel Advocate

I’m proud to share that I’ve officially graduated from the SNG Certified Accessible Travel Advocate Program—a specialized training course designed by Special Needs Group (SNG) to help travel professionals better serve travelers with mobility, medical, and accessibility requirements.

This certification is more than just a credential—it's a commitment to making travel more inclusive, dignified, and joyful for everyone.

What Is the SNG Certification?

Special Needs Group is a leading global provider of mobility and medical equipment rentals for travelers. Their Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program is designed to educate travel advisors on how to recognize, plan for, and support the diverse needs of travelers with disabilities, chronic conditions, or temporary limitations.

The training covers:

  • Mobility and oxygen needs during travel

  • How to navigate accessible cruise and hotel options

  • Planning for equipment delivery worldwide

  • Tips for traveling with medical devices

  • Best practices for accessible shore excursions, tours, and transfers

In other words: I’ve learned how to help travelers travel confidently—without limitations getting in the way of their experience.

Why This Matters

Travel should be for everyone. And yet, too many people with accessibility needs hesitate to book their dream trip due to uncertainty, misinformation, or lack of support.

As a Certified Accessible Travel Advocate, I now have the tools and industry connections to ensure:

  • Mobility equipment like scooters, wheelchairs, or walkers is ready and waiting at your destination or cruise ship

  • You have access to accessible staterooms, transfers, and excursions

  • I can match you with cruise lines, resorts, and tour operators that are truly committed to accessibility—not just ticking a box

  • Your travel experience is smooth, stress-free, and designed around your needs—not the other way around

You Deserve to Travel Your Way

Whether you're navigating travel with a disability, recovering from surgery, using oxygen, or simply want extra support on the go, I’m here to help make your next journey possible—and exceptional.

My goal is to take care of the logistics so you can focus on what really matters: discovering new places, creating lifelong memories, and feeling empowered every step of the way.

Let’s Talk Accessible Travel

Whether you’re planning a cruise, a sun getaway, a group tour, or a Canadian road trip, I’d love to help you experience it comfortably and confidently. Because travel is for every body—and I’m proud to be an advocate making that a reality.
